UNDERAGE DRINKING ALONG THE CANAL

Reports of underage drinking along the canal between Tottleworth Bridge and Norden Bridge have been give to the Rishton Councillors and the local police team were informed at the recent PACT meeting. Further reports of underage drinking at the junction of Danvers Street and Spring Street will also be investigated.

Following the death of a small dog on the canal recently by a motorbike rider, extra patrols will also monitor the towpath when bikes have been known to ride along that stretch of waterway.
