RISHTON ROUNDUP - 15th MARCH 2013

The following issues have been dealt with by the Rishton Councillors over the past few weeks and have either been attended to already or have been logged with the authorities for attention:

  • Parker Street - stopped clock on the corner
  • Hermitage Street - faulty traffic lights
  • Hermitage Street - burned out dustbin
  • High Street - flytipping behind shops
  • Lord Street - faulty street light
  • Sidebeet Lane - uneven footpath along Blackburn Road
  • Brook Street - faulty street light
  • Derby Street - faulty street light

County Cllr Miles Parkinson has also been making enquiries regarding a bus stop sign at Eachill Gardens to make it easier for passengers to get on and off as this has been frequently obstructed by cars. A request has also come in from Rishton Methodist School for a direction sign off High Street to make it easier to visitors to find both it and the church.

If residents have any queries, please get in touch with any of the Rishton Councillors using the Contact details on the right hand side of this blog in the Links section.
