COUNTY COUNCIL ELECTION 2013

The Rishton Councillors are currently campaigning to help Miles Parkinson retain his Lancashire County Council seat of Rishton, Altham and Clayton-le-Moors in the forthcoming election on May 2nd. Miles originally won the seat for Labour in 2009 and has been campaigning for better facilities in Rishton from LCC. This has been bolstered by his elevation to Leader of Hyndburn Borough Council in 2011.

Cllr Ken Moss was out canvassing with Miles on Sunday afternoon whilst Cllrs Clare Cleary and Harry Grayson have been posting information leaflets regarding county issues. Literature will continue to be posted until May and every household in Rishton will get a knock on the door in the forthcoming weeks, with contact details left for those who are out.
