STREET LIGHTING ISSUES

Following the Rishton Area Council meeting, more street lighting issues were brought to the attention of the village Councillors, some of which are long-standing despite previous attempts to rectify them. County Cllr Miles Parkinson has intervened directly and faulty lamps on the following streets will now be repaired within five working days:

• School Street
• St Charles Road
• Eachill Road
• Shawbrook Close

If anyone knows of any other lamps which are not working correctly then please get in touch with any of the Rishton Councillors.
