FOOTAGE OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II IN RISHTON

Footage has been found of HM Queen Elizabeth II's visit to Rishton in May 1968 and this was shown recently at the Library as part of the Lancashire Day exhibition on 29th November. Paul Wilkinson, resident and Rishton historian, unearthed the can of film from his parents' home movie collection and this was cleaned up and transferred digitally by Ken Moss earlier this year.
