The Rishton Councillors would like to wish a Happy St George's Day to all residents. As usual, there are offers and events to mark the occasion across the village, the first one being the successful coffee morning for Rishton Festival committee last Saturday. The Roebuck Inn have specially installed two new cask ales (Greene King IPA and Pedigree) which are retailing at £2.00 per pint plus will be having an afternoon singalong from 3pm and others such as the Conservative Club are already gearing up for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations with other promotions.
