There are several meetings being held within Rishton this week, all of which are open to the public.
Prospects group will be getting together at 7.00pm on Tuesday evening in the Meeting Room at Norden High School. This is an opportunity for anyone interested in the environmental side of the village to come and discuss ideas they have for making improvements or suggestions and get involved with working groups.
PACT will meet on Wednesday at 6.00pm in the Copperhouse on Station Road and this is an interactive forum with the local police officers who report on problems over the last month in Rishton.
Rishton Area Council meet on Thursday night at 7.00pm at St Charles' School and this is a public meeting for the whole town. Councillors Ken Moss, Harry Grayson and Stan Horne will be in attendance and it is a good opportunity for anyone who has a question about the village to put it directly to the council. Notices will be placed around the village to let people know but as many residents as possible are urged to attend and find out how Rishton is being run.
If anyone has any queries or would like to know more then please feel free to get in touch with Cllr Ken Moss on 01254 882797 or Cllr Harry Grayson on 01254 889438.
