BRITISH LEGION BUILDING BROKEN INTO

The old British Legion/Sports and Social Club building was broken into recently and vandalised. The property has now been secured and owner Ashley Cook is actively looking for ways of re-developing the site.

Ashley said, " I've been and made it secure again and cleared a load of fly tipping rubbish from the back yard as well. The building isn't fit for much at the moment as its been previously trashed by people taking the copper pipes and fittings out so it is in a semi-derelict condition but I'm trying to sort out future use for the building, maybe something for the community. If anyone has any ideas or knows of somebody who may be interested in developing the site then I'm always open to suggestions."
