HAPPY ST GEORGE'S DAY 2015

The Rishton Councillors would like to wish everyone a happy St George's Day and the English patron saint's day is being marked at the various pubs and clubs around the village.

Cllr Ken Moss said, "I would encourage anyone who wants to fly the England flag on 23rd April and celebrate being English to do so with pride. We now fly the flag permanently at the Cenotaph and I applaud anyone who wants to show their patriotism in this way."
