The Rishton Methodist Church has applied to buy back the land which adjoins it, previously a play park but now a piece of waste land. A letter to the Rishton Councillors from Property Services states the following:
As the land is highly unlikely to be turned back into play facilities, the Rishton Councillors have lodged no objections to this plan and wish the Church the best of luck in their venture.
