EACHILL JUNCTION UPGRADE DELAYED

The much-anticipated upgrade to Eachill junction has been delayed by at least six months due to ongoing legal issues between Lancashire County Council and Hyndburn Homes, who own a strip of land which is to be used for widening the road.

County Councillor Miles Parkinson and the three Rishton Councillors have expressed disappointment and have urged LCC to resolve these issues as soon as possible.
