RISHTON FESTIVAL - 5th JULY 2014

Things are gearing up for Rishton Festival 2014 with lots of stalls and events booked and a parade as usual through the streets, starting at 10.30am from the railway station to Norden High School where the main event will take place.

Cllr Clare Cleary is a member of the Festival Committee and said, "Every year the Festival gets bigger and better and we have a lot of local support. I am looking forward to this year's event, let's just hope we get the good weather again!"

The Festival takes place on 5th July and the theme this year is Pride of Britain to celebrate all things British. Anyone wishing to book a last minute stall should contact event organiser Christine Hammerton on 07779408691.
