KEN MOSS WINS SECOND TERM

Cllr Ken Moss has been elected for a second term in the local elections and will now remain on Hyndburn Borough Council until 2018.

The votes cast were as follows:

Ken Moss (Labour) - 924
Warren Melia (Conservative) - 426
Samuel Haworth (Independent) - 81
David Dowling (UKIP) - 554

Ken said, "I am so grateful to everyone who voted for me. It is such a rewarding job and it would have saddened me to watch someone else doing it. Thankfully, I can now continue working for Rishton's best interests."
