Councillors identified an end of terrace property at 74 Talbot Street that was drastically in need of attention and this has now been addressed and remedied by HBC's Environmental Protection Team.
The owner was contacted and an enforcement order was issued. Woodwork has now been repainted along with the hood, head and window sills.
Anyone who wishes for HBC to look into the status of an unsightly property should get in touch with any of the Rishton Councillors.
