OVERGROWN TREE ON SANDS ROAD

A large tree on Sands Road is attracting more and more complaints as it has now grown to such a size that it is touching several houses and blocking out light. The root system is also now so large that it has severely distorted the surrounding pavements and is causing concern to residents regarding building foundations.

The tree has been a long-standing cause of concern but has been formally identified as the responsibility of Hyndburn Homes. This matter is now being actively pursued for a swift resolution.
