ALLOTMENT BREAK INS

The spate of allotment break-ins continued this week with thefts from both Rishton and Great Harwood and tension is rising regarding the situation. The Rishton Councillors are currently lobbying the senior police to recognise the strength of feeling among residents and divert more resources to tackle the problem. More regular updates have been requested from the Inspector and Chief Inspector and this information will be reported on the blog as and when it comes through.

A theft in Rishton on Wednesday night led to two arrest warrants being issued on Thursday morning which also generated further charges relating to drugs offences.
