An open service hatch where 1 and 3 Bridge Street used to be has been commented on by several residents since the Victorian Fair last weekend. The hole appears to be an access chamber for communications cable and has now been reported to HBC for repair. It is well away from the centre of the footpath over the canal bridge but residents are advised to be watchful when walking that route until the chamber is re-sealed.
