RISHTON ISSUES - 16th MARCH 2011

Several problems around the village have been noted by Cllrs Harry Grayson and Ken Moss whilst out canvassing with Clare Cleary.  These have all now been reported to the council officers for attention:
  • Bridge Street - wagons churning up grassed area
  • Bridge Street - blocked storm drain
  • Bridge Street - stolen grit bin
  • Fielding Street - unsightly front of house
  • Woodside Avenue - street sign in need of repair
  • Spring Street - No 101 has been vandalised
  • Spring Street - flytipping behind No 100
  • Spring Street - flytipping behind No 29
  • Spring Street - burglar alarm going off at derelict No 84
  • Cliff Street - street light fault at junction with Bridge Street
  • Livesey Street - missing storm drain cover
  • Stourton Street - blocked storm drain in alley
  • School Street - wall in need of repair
  • Bridgefield Close - damaged storm drain cover
  • Walmsley Street - overcrowding of cars for sale
