A delegation of the Rishton Neighbourhood Action Group undertook a walk around the village on Saturday 19th February to ascertain locations for the new Rishton Remembered plaques which are to be installed shortly.
The plaques point out various historical sites in Rishton such as the house in Tottleworth where the last hangman in England lived, the site of the Egg Wagon Crash of 1957 and details of The Roebuck Inn's past.
