RISHTON SURGERY - 27th NOVEMBER 2010

A special public meeting will be held at Rishton Free Gardeners Club on Parker Street on Saturday 27th November at 12.00pm to discuss the placement of a new bus shelter on Hermitage Street.  The three ward councillors allocated enough money for one on the downward side of the road at the Area Council meeting on 9th November but a small number of objections have been raised and so the final decision is being left to the public as to whether the shelter is built or not.

Cllrs Harry Grayson, Ken Moss and Stan Horne will be in attendance and will also hold an open forum session for any other issues to be raised and the meeting is expected to last around 2 hours.
