Wednesday 4th August saw the opening of Rhubarb and Ginger, a new sandwich bar and cafe on High Street where The Mighty Munchbox used to be.
The new manager Sally Stinson is a fully qualified chef and has decided to become self-employed after a lengthy stint working at the Blackburn Rovers restaurant. Cllr Ken Moss went to the opening of the sandwich bar for breakfast and the menu that Sally has put together is both impressive and reasonably priced.
