RISHTON FESTIVAL 2010

The Rishton Festival takes place this Saturday and the theme this year will be the early nineteenth century. Costumes and games from the period will form the basis for the event to be held at Norden School over the course of the day and a parade will take place through the centre of the village in the morning.  This is an event for the whole of Rishton and something for the entire family to enjoy.

There is still time to get involved if you wish to display a stall or float and you can get in touch with committee chair Malcolm Ward (bottom left) through either Cllrs Ken Moss or Harry Grayson.
