COUNCILLORS FORUM - 3rd JULY 2014

It was recently announced that Area Councils were to be scrapped in order to save money but the Rishton Councillors have decided that will continue with the established setup and continue to organise three public meetings a year for residents to engage with their elected representatives.

A meeting had been scheduled at 7.00pm on Thursday 3rd July in the Cricket Club and this will still go ahead. Cllr Clare Cleary will take the Chair and will be joined by fellow Councillors Ken Moss and Harry Grayson, with updates from County Cllr Miles Parkinson. It is hoped that MP Graham Jones will also be able to come along and give a parliamentary update.

This meeting is open to all and is a chance to meet with Councillors face to face and ask any questions that you wish to raise. Leaflets are currently being posted across Rishton and it is intended for one to go through the letterbox of every household.
